Our building provides classrooms based on age and development. We start out with two infant rooms. The first room is for babies from six weeks up through approximately seven months. The older infant room is for those crawling through one year of age.
We have three toddler rooms that take the child from barely walking through the potty training stage. These rooms work closely with your child as they develop their independence, begin to eat from
the table and interact more with other children. Curriculum begins to take a more defined shape as new activities and traditional education is introduced.
Once your child is potty trained, they are ready to move into our transition room to prepare them for more involved curriculum and group learning. We then have classrooms for the 3-4 year olds prior to moving into our Pre-Kindergarten rooms. The Pre-K rooms are reserved for those children that will be attending Kindergarten at the beginning of the next school year. Some school may refer to these rooms as K-3, K-4 and K-5.
Our school age program makes use of the gym each afternoon.
All of our classrooms have bathroom and hand washing facilities, telephones, outside doors and other safety features. Many of the walls are floor to ceiling glass to provide an open and secure environment. To reduce the spread of germs, every two rooms have their own heating and cooling system. All of our electrical circuits are special safety circuits. We hold fire drills at least once a month. Well over 90% of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. We do background checks on all of our teachers.
